What is Pikliz?
Pickled hot peppers, known around the Caribbean islands as “pikliz” is a traditional condiment that has been used by Caribbean people for decades. It is especially popular with Haitians when served with fried pork and plantain(This Haitian dish is called Griot). Although generally referred to as pickled hot peppers, Pikliz also contains other ingredients such as onions, carrots, cabbage, peas and green beans in a vinegar mix.
